Bill Decker

Hello, I’m Bill Decker. I specialize in helping people financially prepare for retirement (The fourth quarter of life). Using a holistic approach, meaning managing your finances for the big picture — short- and long-term goals combined — rather than just going day to day, or ignoring distant future needs with a fundamental use of Securities and Insurance solutions. My focus is to help clients all over the country find ways to generate more retirement income and see how to securely protect their money during these turbulent times.
Despite the current volatility in the world today and the historically low-interest-rate environment that we have experienced there are still strategies that you can put in place right now to ensure that you do not run out of income and keep your money securely protected from future market downturns.
Being securities licensed Series (65,63,6,7) and Insurance licensed. You can be confident you will be guided with recommendations that follow fiduciary requirements and independent advice based on your values and goals, and not internal or incentivized products.

By specializing in– pre and post-retirees near, or in the retirement zone (the 5 year pre and post leaving your job) the focus is to create a client advisor relationship that provides a comprehensive step by step plan of action for you and what you need to do in the following areas: Cash Reserves, Debt management, Insurance, Tax strategies and assets allocations that will make your life better for today and tomorrow.
The most significant influence in my life has been my grandfather. While growing up, he used to take me to the Yankee Stadium and see Yankee greats like Reggie Jackson, Thurman Munson, Ron Guidry, and many others. I loved spending my vacations with him at his home and family-owned restaurant where I got to see first-hand how a dream, hard work, effort, and discipline could provide very satisfying rewards. He taught me about coin collecting, the value of money, and dedication and persistence. All of these lessons and memories have lasted my lifetime and those same fundamentals and values that my grandfather taught me years ago still apply today and what I strive to bring to my clients today.

Married to my wife Kathy since 1994 and I am the proud father of Bradley and Brittney Decker and humbled and grateful to be the grandfather of the amazing Kehlani Rose Decker.

Joe Combest

Joe Combest

I began my career in Financial Services in 1992 as an Investment Representative for a large, national investment firm. I successfully established and grew their first investment office in the Corona, California area.

In 1999 I affiliated with another large national firm to build a practice that could offer full Financial Planning and Investment Advisory services from an independent and objective perspective.

Prior to beginning a career in the Financial Services industry, I gained valuable business experience in the oil and gas industry in my home state of Oklahoma. I served as an Infantry Officer in the US Army and Army Reserves and then moved to California in 1989 where I served in the California Army National Guard until 1997.

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Geology at Oklahoma State University in 1982 and an MBA at the University of Oklahoma in 1987. I believe that continuing my education is critical to maintain my ability to provide a valuable service. I completed the Personal Financial Planning program at the University of California in Riverside and earned my Certified Financial Planner (CFP) credential in 2000. To maintain my competencies I complete at least 40 hours of continuing education every year.

In the summer of 2005 I moved back to my hometown of Duncan, Ok with my wife Benay, our daughter Caitlin, and our son Kyle. Kyle has recently joined what is now our family practice and I am excited to see him grow and provide the continuity for our clientele in future years.

Benay and I are “empty nesters” now and enjoy ranching, golfing, and pretty much all things out doors.

Mission Statement

To profitably provide the finest financial service, advice, and information available, in a format that is relevant and useful to a select clientele who expects a high level of services, attention, and access to their professional advisors.

Sharon Sanchez

Sharon Sanchez

My name is Sharon Sanchez and I hold a Life and Health Insurance license along with a Series 65 Investment Advisor registration. Although I am thoroughly excited about the insurance and advisory business, it was not my first choice. My first choice at an early age was a desire to become a Fashion Designer like Edith Head. I loved what she accomplished and wanted to emulate her career.
So, after graduating from High School I attended the Fashion Institute of Design Merchandising. However, after graduating with an AA degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising I decided to get involved in the banking industry. I worked in the banking industry for 13 years. I started my career as a Teller and ended it as VP & Mgr.
After 13 years of learning so many valuable things, I took that knowledge and started my own business, a mortgage company. I expanded upon the mortgage company and added a real estate franchise. After being self-employed for 25 years I expanded my business and added Life and Health Insurance. While working in the banking industry, I was interested in learning more about the Investment Department.
Fast forwarding today, HBW is satisfying that desire. They gave me the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of being a professional investment adviser. Thank you, HBW Advisory Services. I truly appreciate the opportunity to work with you.

Brad Rudkin

Brad Rudkin

As an ENTP personality type, I love to be around people. Every job I’ve had since college has involved working collaboratively with large groups of people whether as clients, colleagues, business partners or direct reports. During my consulting career, I provided management training to hundreds of managers at small and medium sized companies, both public and private. This both grew out of and grew into a love for helping people become more effective and efficient at achieving what matters most to them.

Two of the character qualities that I think are most important are being teachable and always seeking to learn. As an undergrad student, I double majored in Accounting and Business Management, graduating Magna Cum Laude. I went on to earn a Master’s in Business Administration (graduating number three in a class of 80) and a Doctor of Jurisprudence (graduating in the top third of my law school class). I continue to learn by completing Continuing Legal Education courses as well as reading many books and attending seminars and workshops regularly.

When I’m Not Working I thoroughly enjoy spending time with Jenny, my wife of 28 years, and our six children: Daniel, Jessyca, Ryan, Alex, David and Weston. We love many outdoor activities including hunting, hiking, camping and spending time on the beach. We are also very involved with wrestling and with church activities. I enjoy helping local non profit organizations by serving on their boards of directors as needed.

Hobbies and Interests: Family, outdoor activities, hunting, hiking, camping.

Kerri Herlick

Kerri Herlick

I believe in teaching my three children how to thrive in the world. I believe in teaching them how to reach out to each other despite the miles that separate them, to be friends, and love one another. I believe in teaching them to surround themselves with the right people. I believe in teaching these same lessons to my two grandchildren, Colin and Aribella, who I visit every year on their birthdays - even though they are 3,000 miles apart. I believe in loyalty. My husband Blake and I will celebrate our 25 years and wonderful family together this year with a long awaited trip to Italy.

I believe in providing advice to give others success. My phone often lights up with a client’s number, no matter the time of day. Sometimes it is a quick question, but often it’s about the big things in life; career decisions, marriages, divorces, colleges, purchasing a retirement home, selling a business, and my personal favorite, “Should we purchase kitchen tile..?” The question doesn’t matter. I am here to listen.

I believe in being grateful. I am grateful that my clients have entrusted me with not only their finances, but with what really matters to them. I am grateful to have the support of HBW Advisory and the people in it. I am grateful that I have the experience and passion to be present for my clients. My skills enable me to guide them to reach their individual expectations and find solutions to help them get to where they want to be.

My clients are not just a job. They are people that I truly enjoy connecting and conversing with. They are people that I have sat with in their time of crisis and in time of celebration. We have shared many tears, cheers, and great laughter.
