We are just kicking off our tax class and have been getting some questions on this so here are a few details for everyone. The fee to become tax certified is $500. This includes the fee for the books/materials, your on line access as well as access to our pre-recorded webinars as we teach the topics. It also includes your software for tax preparation, called Drake, which is amazing software!! You can do a lot of planning with this too. Lastly it covers you for E&O which is required. The annual renewal fee is $400. There is no CE requirement but we do have training webinars each year to make sure everyone is up to speed on the latest information regarding taxes.
This program is self-paced and takes about 3 months to complete. We are here to help answer questions and are doing webinars on every topic and chapter in the course. Some states have an extra fee as they have their own certification that is needed so we will let you know that once we have the information. Have any interest in becoming tax certified?
