Paul Brandwein is the founder of Playbook Wealth Partners, a fee-only fiduciary practice based in St. Charles, Illinois. He works with three groups: employees with concentrated stock positions (RSUs, ISOs, ESPPs), business owners preparing to sell, and real estate investors planning an exit.
Before launching Playbook, Paul spent eight years as a wholesaler in structured products and derivatives, working with hundreds of advisors on how to hedge, monetize, and unwind concentrated positions for their clients. That institutional vantage point shapes how he works today — every client gets a written, step-by-step plan built around their specific situation, timeline, and goals.
Paul lives in the Fox Valley with his family. When he’s not working, he’s usually on a golf course, in the gym, or quoting The Office.
